Frequently Asked Questions
Aren’t Gel Pads already included with press-on nails?
Yes! Every kit includes enough Gel Pads for 2 full applications.
You’ll receive either the classic Gel Pads, Gel Pads 2.0, or Gel Pads 3.0 — depending on the production batch and the age of the set.
The standalone packs allow you to get more applications and, above all, choose the type of Gel Pads that suits you best.
How long do they last?
The average wear time with Gel Pads is 5–7 days.
Many of our users keep them on for 1–2 weeks, while others wear them just for a special occasion or a single day. It’s entirely up to you!
Will I find my size?
Yes ! We include all possible sizes, from the thinnest to the widest to suit all nail shapes.
Gel Pads 2.0 include even more thin and wide sizes than regular Gel Pads.
What is the difference between Gel Pads and Gel Pads 2.0?
We offer 3 types of adhesives: classic Gel Pads, Gel Pads 2.0 and Gel Pads 3.0.
Gel Pads :
- 12 sticker sizes
- Longer shape, ideal for medium nail beds
- Very strong hold
Gel pads 2.0 :
- 16 sticker sizes (better suited to very small or very wide nails)
- Shorter shape, ideal for short or bitten nail beds
- Very strong hold
Gel pads 3.0 :
- 12 sticker sizes
- Longer shape, ideal for medium nail beds
- EXTRA strong hold
Do they work on bitten nails?
Absolutely ! Gel Pads 2.0, shorter than Gel Pads, are specially designed for bitten nails or small nail bases.
Do they damage natural nails?
No, our Gel Pads are gentle on the natural nail.
Unlike other abrasive methods, application with Gel Pads does not damage the nails and does not use any toxic products or other chemical compounds that can soften the nails.
Which should I choose: Gel Pads or liquid glue?
To help you choose the method that suits you best, here are the main differences between Gel Pads and liquid glue:
- Application: both take 10 minutes and are beginner-friendly. Applying with glue requires a bit more focus to avoid overflow.
- Hold: the average wear time is 5–7 days with Gel Pads and 1–3 weeks with liquid glue.
- For whom? choose Gel Pads if you like to change styles or plan to wear/remove your press-ons frequently. Choose liquid glue if you want a longer-lasting set. Liquid glue is not recommended during pregnancy.
- Removal: taking off your press-ons is easier and faster with Gel Pads. Nails may get slightly damaged when using liquid glue.
- Reusability: Gel Pads leave no residue under the press-ons, making them reusable many times. Liquid glue leaves dried residue that needs to be filed off, so the press-ons can typically be reused only 2–3 times.
